Day 6 of the Red Dragon Poker Tour (RDPT) Plus Jeju Summer 2026 festival at the LES A Casino , saw Ranno Sootla capture the Prestige High Roller title, earning his first RDPT trophy and Gold Dragon Bracelet.

Meanwhile, the Red Dragon Plus Championship kicked off with Day 1A, where Yawei Deng built a massive chip lead, and Dajie Zhuo survived a wild aces-vs-aces cooler to finish second in chips. Guoliang Wei also found the winner’s circle by taking down the Dragon’s Hoard PKO title.

The three-day Red Dragon Prestige High Roller concluded with Estonia’s Ranno Sootla taking down the top spot. Sootla earned the KRW 190,022,000 (~USD 125,535) first-place prize, his first RDPT trophy, and the first Gold Dragon Bracelet of the series.

The tournament attracted 101 entries, building a total prize pool of KRW 713,222,000 (~USD 471,190).

Nine players returned for the Day 3 final table. Start-of-day chip leader Yuhan Liu ran into trouble and was eliminated in fourth place, then Xugang Zhang in third place, setting up a heads-up match between Sootla and Yuhang Liu.

Sootla entered the duel holding a 2-to-1 chip lead. Early in the match, Sootla had a chance to close out the win with pocket eights against Liu’s ace-ten pre-flop, but a ten on the river kept Liu alive. Twenty minutes later, Sootla found his own double-up into the lead when his pocket jacks held up against Liu’s ace-four.

In the final hand, Liu moved all-in with ace-seven against Sootla’s pocket nines. Liu paired his seven on the turn, but the river failed to bring further help, giving Sootla the victory.

Sootla previously finished fifth in this exact event earlier this year. This win marks his first RDPT trophy and pushes his career live earnings past the USD 2 million mark.

Deng Dominates Championship Day 1A

The opening flight of the KRW 4,000,000 (~USD 2,640) buy-in Red Dragon Plus Championship finished its scheduled ten levels of play. Day 1A drew 163 entries, with 54 players surviving the night to advance to Day 2.

Yawei Deng secured the chip lead during the second half of the day and never let it go, bagging an enormous stack of 900,000 (360 big blinds). Dajie Zhuo finished second in chips with 545,000 (218 big blinds).

Zhuo grew his stack after an unusual pre-flop confrontation against Andres Vasquez , where both players moved all-in with pocket aces in a six-bet pot. Expected to split, the board instead delivered a runner-runner, one-card flush to give Zhuo a freeroll double-up. Vasquez recovered from the beat to finish the day with a healthy 148,500 (59 big blinds). Aichun Li rounded out the top three stacks of the flight, bagging 517,500 (207 big blinds).

In side event action, The Dragon’s Hoard (PKO) drew 181 entries, generating a KRW 281,492,000 (~USD 187,220) prize pool. Regular tour competitor and two-time bracelet winner Guoliang Wei won the tournament, outlasting the field to take home the top prize of KRW 33,250,000 (~USD 22,115).

Super U Challenge Down to 13

The USD 8,000 buy-in Super U Challenge completed its opening day with 34 entries. After 12 levels of play, 13 players advanced to Day 2. Win Meng Tan bagged the chip lead with a commanding 2,146,000 (214 big blinds), ahead of Defeng Chen with 1,291,000 (129 big blinds) and Haohui Ma with 1,153,000 (115 big blinds). They were the only three players to finish the day with seven-figure stacks.
